2015 Reschke Armenta Shiraz
In Coonawarra's vineyards, where the soil tells tales of a century past, exists the Reschke family legacy. Here, where once Hereford herds grazed, the 2015 Armenta Shiraz was born. The Reschke's bond with this land dates back to 1906 when they first cared for their prime Hereford stud. The bull, symbolising strength and resilience, became an emblem for their cattle and wines alike.
Burke Reschke dreamt of turning this grazing area into a vineyard that would produce fruit as robust as the bovine residents. In 1989, Burke's vision materialised when he planted the first vines on Reschke Estate; his passion lay not just in growing grapes but in crafting a legacy.
2015 gifted Coonawarra with a season that painted clear skies and left the earth parched enough to infuse the grapes with intense flavours. The Armenta Shiraz was born from this natural tableau—a wine carefully nurtured by experienced hands.
Each sip of the 2015 Armenta Shiraz is a journey through time and tradition. Dark berries and vanillin oak dance on your palate; warm spice recalls tales told around campfires under starry skies while forest floor essences bring back memories of wandering through ancient groves.
