This wine really does lay down the law. The fruit is fresh but bold, the texture is dry but soft, the finish is juicy but chained with tannin. Cedar, dust, juicy red-and-black berries, a long, floral, complex conclusion; it’s a gorgeous flavour profile. Gum leaf notes are evident too – in an integrated, harmonious way. It’s to necessarily a big wine but it feels in full command. Price: $50; Drink: 2026-2036+; Rated: 95 Points; Campbell Mattinson | The Wine Front
